SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of mechanical engineering, and more specifically to couplings. The expansion coupling of the locomotive traction drive contains rubber elastic elements connected to the wheel and the hollow shaft flange by means of bolts. At the interface points of the bolts with the elastic elements, pressure elements are vulcanized in the latter ones. One of the pressure elements of each rubber elastic element consists of two parts, between which, when the rubber elastic element is not fixed, there are gaps in the axial direction. The rubber elastic elements have grooves running along the entire width of each of the rubber elastic elements.

EFFECT: achieves the improved maintainability.
