FIELD: heat and power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method and device are designed to increase the efficiency of heat transfer of a heating device in gaseous media. The device includes a heat energy source located inside device case 1, on outer rear heat-emitting surface 2 of which, facing outer enclosing structure 3 (wall), layer 4 of aluminum-containing foil is applied, the surface roughness of which is not more than 2.5 mm.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase the efficiency of heat transfer of a heating device due to a guaranteed reduction in the intensity of the heat flow emanating from the rear heat-emitting surface towards the outer enclosing structure for any material of the heating device case.
