FIELD: deicing devices.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for cleaning cables from snow or ice. The device for protecting the cable from icing contains a set of elastic tubular elements connected by an elastic tube in such a way that in cross-section a set of elastic tubular elements forms an annular structure. On top of the elastic tubular elements there is an elastic shell in which there is a valve communicating with a set of elastic tubular elements on one side and on the other side with a compressed air source. In this case, the valve is designed with the possibility of pumping elastic tubular elements and venting air into the atmosphere. At the same time, there are elastic tubular elements with and without compressed air. On top of the elastic shell there are elements for chipping ice.
EFFECT: reducing the time of removal of the ice cover.
