FIELD: biotechnology.

SUBSTANCE: proposed is a method for increasing the productivity of microorganisms in a medium with a preset isotopic composition. The method includes preparing a suspension of microorganisms and mixing said suspension in the presence of stable isotopes in the process of cultivation. A monoisotope or isotope pairs with a chemical bond are therein selected by the formula Nn-Np=2k+1, wherein k ∈ Z, and Z is the set of non-negative integers, Nn is the number of neutrons, Np is the number of protons. If positive integer odd values are obtained, an isotopic resonance accompanied by an increase in the productivity of microorganisms or an increase in the metabolic activity thereof occurs, and if negative integer or positive even values are obtained, isotopic resonance is absent.

EFFECT: invention provides an increase in the efficiency of application of stable isotopes of biogenic elements for increasing the rate of biochemical processes and biological growth of microorganisms, as well as an expansion in the range of functional capabilities of the method.
