APPARATUS FOR WATER FLOW RATE REGULATION Russian patent published in 2021 - IPC G05D7/01 F16K7/17

Abstract RU 2756510 C1

FIELD: hydraulic engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hydraulic equipment and can be used to stabilise and adjust the water flow rate at tubular and diaphragm water outlets. Apparatus for water flow rate regulation comprises a water outlet pipe with a rectangular cross-section with a seat blocked with a shut-off body made in the form of a flexible tape fixed at one end to the upper wall of the water outlet pipe and at the other end to the seat at the base of the end wall of the water outlet pipe and forming a control cavity with the body of the water outlet pipe, communicating with the upper pool and equipped with a drainage channel, installed whereon is a valve connected by a rod with the membrane of the membrane body, the cavity whereof is connected with the upper pool, a threshold located on the edge of the seat on the side of the upper pool, made in the form of a spillway with a vacuum curvilinear profile and turned in the direction of contact with the flexible tape and with a height the greater, the greater the rigidity of the flexible tape. According to the invention, a part of the flexible tape located above the seat is reinforced with metal angles installed with horizontal shelves across the long side thereof at a pitch providing the rigidity of the flexible tape, wherein rows of vane with a gap between the vanes are arranged sequentially between the metal angles, the ends of the vanes on the side of the upper pool are rigidly connected with the vertical shelf of the corresponding metal angle, and the opposite ends thereof have flexible connections with a decreasing length from one vane to another in order to connect with the vertical shelf of the subsequent metal angle, forming a slope in the direction of the drainage channel. The ends of the vane of the last metal angle are not fixed at the base of the end wall of the water outlet pipe, wherein all vanes except the latter have floats at the edges of the short sides thereof, and the outer long sides of the vanes located by the lateral sides of the culvert, except the vanes located by the drainage channel, also have floats and flexible side curtains with a height covering the space between the vane and the flexible tape, and an additional common curtain is located on the side of the upper pool, covering the edges of all first vanes with a height covering the internal space between the vanes and the tape.

EFFECT: increase in the reliability in operations on water with increased turbidity, with a maintained possibility of providing increased accuracy when regulating the water flow rate.
