FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: claimed is a method for degassing a coal bed. The invention relates to development of flat-dipping coal beds and can be used for degassing thereof. The method includes drilling degassing boreholes. Laying hydraulic fractures of the coal bed therefrom. Subsequently pumping the gas through the pipeline. Additional thrust is created in the pipeline for pumping using at least one fan installed therein. The fan is connected with a drive wind engine via a reduction gearbox. The wind engine is mounted on the outside of the pipeline at an angle to the direction of movement of the air jet used for ventilation of the mine working.
EFFECT: increase in the efficiency of degassing of a coal bed due to an increase in the thrust in the gas pumping pipeline.
