FIELD: radio engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of radio engineering and can be used for the detection and identification of labels on surfactants against the background of reflective objects, including from the underlying surface. In the claimed method, radio sounding of the label is carried out sequentially on a numbered series of different frequencies in two adjacent time intervals. In each time interval, the reflected signals are received and their average values are accumulated. Then the difference of the average values accumulated in each of the two adjacent intervals is calculated, and a decision is made on the detection and identification of labels. To increase the probability of detecting and identifying marks, the accumulation of the difference is carried out over several cycles of the system operation.
EFFECT: increasing the reliability of the detection and identification of the label on the surfactant against the background of reflecting objects.
