FIELD: object identification. SUBSTANCE: piezoelectric pickup with aerial is anchored on container for object identification. Radio probing of object is carried out with the use of transceiving path by irradiation of passive responder with radio signal. It generates code word containing information part with data on object, for instance, date of manufacture and realization, quantitative induce and so on. Then formed electric signal is reemitted and is further received by aerial of transceiving path. Radio probing of object is carried out with harmonic signal and pilot signal is included into composition of code word in addition to information part. It is separated from information part by fixed time interval. In this case coding of information part is performed by way of biphase modulation of elementary characters and decoding of code word is conducted by means of phase synchronization. Passive responder 1 incorporating single-input converter 8 of surface acoustic waves which has piezoelectric acoustic line and base and information taps arranged on its surface in acoustic channel connected with electric wires is attached to object 3. Plant mix includes transceiving path 4 with aerial 5 for radio probing of object 3, threshold device 6 and information processing unit 7 with indication device. Single-input converter 8 of surface acoustic waves has additional tap forming pilot signal which is arranged on surface of piezoelectric acoustic line together with information and base taps. Taps are so placed relative to each other that inherent noises of passive responder, predominantly of twice and thrice-repeated passing, hit zone of code word free from information on object. Threshold device includes selector 30 of pilot signal, phase detector 24 with phase system of self-tuning fitted with key 29 for setting of controlled voltage generator 25 at moment of arrival of pilot signal and storage element 27 for holding of controlled voltage generator for time of incoming of information part of code word.
