SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a technology of Internet of things (hereinafter – IoT). According to the invention, a set of security rules that are associated with the expected state of at least one IoT device is stored. IoT data associated with at least one IoT device is received. IoT data can be aggregated data that includes at least two different data types. Based on IoT data, it is determined, whether the set of rules is violated. The warning is selectively sent to a user based on the specified determination.

EFFECT: increase in the security of devices in IoT environment.
