SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a tightly inserted lid designed to seal a hole of a container made of multilayer film, and to a method for hermetically sealing a container with such a lid. Tightly inserted lid (10) without the possibility of reinstallation contains tubular sleeve (13) extending along the axis (X'-X'), and at one end of lid (10) it contains rim (16) that radially protrudes from specified tubular sleeve (13), wherein the tightly inserted lid is made of polymer material that can withstand a high-temperature sterilization cycle, and it has sealing wall (17) that extends from rim (16) along the surface bounded by rim (16), wherein sealing wall (17) has a height change relatively to rim (16) in the range from -1% to 1% of the characteristic size of specified sealing wall (17), wherein the lid also has a number of protrusions (21), preferably three, which extend from specified front surface (17A) of sealing wall (17), wherein protrusions (21) have a shape that ensures their mutual connection with a gripping head of a filling machine to direct the gripping head during the installation of lid (10).

EFFECT: technical result is obtaining a tightly inserted lid and a sealed container.
