FIELD: chemical industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for producing ethyl (2E)-5-phenylpent-2-en-4-inoate, which consists in the fact that ethyl (2E)-5-phenylpent-2-en-4-inoate is obtained by olefination-dehydrohalogenation of (2Z)-2-iodine-3-phenylprop-2-enal in the presence of triethylphosphonoacetate and K2CO3 as a base.
EFFECT: new method for producing ethyl (2E)-5-phenylpent-2-en-4-inoate with a high yield has been developed, which can be used in organic chemistry, medical chemistry and the pharmaceutical industry.
