FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a process for the preparation of isomers of N,N-dibutyl-N,N-bis(3-chloroprop-2-en-1-yl)ammonium chloride, which at concentrations of 0.5 % effectively prevent hydrate formation and have a strong anti-corrosion and bactericidal action. Process is based on the quaternization of dibutylamine with the individual isomers of 1,3-dichloropropene or a mixture thereof, one-pot alkylation of dibutylamine 2 with the equivalents of 1,3-dichloropropene in the presence of K2CO3 and catalytic amounts of KI in boiling acetonitrile is carried out.
EFFECT: higher yield of products of 84–86 % and a one-stage process.
