FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing (4E, 6Z)-hexadeca-4,6-diene-1-OL, which has been identified as a component of sexual pheromone moth Stathmopoda. Results of the invention can be used in chemistry, light chemical industry and agriculture. Method consists in the fact that ethyl (4E)-hexadec-4-en-1-inoate hexadeca-4-Ene-6-inoat stereoselective is Pd-catalysed cross-combination of ethyl (4E)-tridec-4-en-1-inoate -5-chlorinepenta-4-inoate with synthesis 1-another in the presence of weakly bound complex PdCl2(n-PrCN)2 and Cul in piperidine at room temperature, followed by selective recovery of triple communication ethyl (4E)-tridec-4-en-1-ylacetate hexadeca-4-Ene-6-inoate activated Zn (Cu/Ag) and reduction of the formed ethyl (4E, 6Z)-hexadeca-4.6-diinoate lithium aluminum hydride.
EFFECT: proposed method allows to obtain an end product with high output.
