FIELD: steam generation.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of thermal engineering and can be used for cleaning the deposition on the surface of pipes of a steam generator. In the method for removing local deposition on heat exchange tubes of steam generators of a nuclear power station, consisting in the fact that a manipulator connected with a lift is inserted into a vertical passage inside the heat exchanger using a hydrodynamic manipulator and at least one nozzle configured to rotate around a rotary axis, the orientation whereof is coordinated with the distance between the pipes in the bundle of pipes of the heat exchanger, a water jet is released, rotated relative to the cleaned area, wherein the manipulator is temporarily fixed in set positions inside the vertical passage, preliminarily measurements of the dosage rate are taken inside the steam generator directly at the work site, the acceptable work time is determined based on the measurement results, eddy-current signals are measured and the received signals are analysed to evaluate the condition of the metal of the walls of the heat exchange tubes and the thickness of deposition thereon in order to find a sector with local deposition, the coordinates of the cleaning sector are determined and the cleaning time and modes are calculated, and the deposition is cleaned by the shock impact of a high-pressure jet applying a consecutively moved hydrodynamic manipulator installed on a mounting frame configured to rotate and move, placed in accordance with the determined coordinates of the cleaning sector, at a preset water jet supply pressure.

EFFECT: reduced cleaning time and increased reliability of deposit removal.
