FIELD: mechanical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a radial clearance seal of a turbomachine, which contains base 1 and cellular block 2 with tetrahedral cells. The honeycomb block is placed on the base and forms a throttling gap with rotor ridge 3. Honeycomb block 2 with tetrahedral cells contains a transverse row of identical tetrahedral rhombic cells 4. Row of tetrahedral rhombic cells 4 and large diagonals of the bases of the tetrahedral rhombic cells are parallel to rotor ridge 3. Adjacent to the extreme row of tetrahedral cells is row of triangular cells 5, in which two walls are formed by the walls of two consecutive tetrahedral cells, and the third wall is part of flat annular sector 6. Adjacent to row of identical tetrahedral rhombic cells 4 is transverse row of tetrahedral deltoid cells 7, in which two large walls are formed by the walls of two consecutive tetrahedral rhombic cells, and two small walls form large walls of two consecutive cells of the next adjacent row of tetrahedral deltoid cells 8. The smaller walls of the latter form the large walls of two consecutive cells of the next adjacent row of tetrahedral deltoid cells 9. The small diagonals of the bases of tetrahedral rhombic and deltoid cells are connected by a geometric progression ratio.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase the operating period of a turbomachine with acceptable efficiency values and reduce the cost of operating and repairing cellular seals.
