FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: run-in shroud seal for a steam turbine comprises sealing circular combs of a turbine rotor, sealing segments and circular slots of a turbine stator. Sealing segments include sealing units, attached to bodies of sealing units, being V-shaped in the cross section. Sealing units have dimensions that make it possible to insert bodies of sealing units into the V-shaped slot of the turbine stator with a minimum gap and are arranged between sealing stator combs, made as integral with bodies of sealing units. Circular slots of the turbine stator are V-shaped in the longitudinal section of the turbine and have a horizontal longitudinal slot. Sealing units are made of adhesively connected particles of run-in powder material. as a solid material. In the cross section they have trapezoid shape. Inner surfaces of the bodies of sealing units have in the cross section the trapezoidal shape corresponding to sealing units, with dimensions making it possible to insert and fix sealing units into bodies of sealing units with a minimum gap. Bodies of sealing units are made of adhesively connected particles of run-in powder material as a solid material, besides, the adhesion strength of connection of powder alloy particles makes from 40 to 80% of particle material strength, and adhesion strength of sealing unit material particles makes from 5 to 20% of particle material strength.
EFFECT: sealing units and bodies of sealing units are made by pressing with further sintering in vacuum or protective atmosphere.
