FIELD: polymers.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method for producing a block copolymer, to a block copolymer produced by said method, and to a compound for footwear or electrical insulation based on the described block copolymer. The method for producing a block copolymer includes polymerisation of a vinylaromatic hydrocarbon and a conjugated diene taken at a ratio (25 to 55):(75 to 45) wt.%, respectively, in a hydrocarbon solvent medium, applying an electron-donating additive, an organolithium initiator, optionally a crosslinking agent, as well as introduction of an anti-agglomerator at the stage of water-steam degasification, followed by expression, isolation and drying of the block copolymer. The anti-agglomerator constitutes a compound by the formula R(COOMe)n and/or MeOH, wherein Me is an alkali metal, R is C1-C20-alkyl, C3-C20-alicyclic, C3-C20-heterocyclic, C5-C20-aromatic group capable of binding with two or more carboxylate residues of -COOMe; n ≥ 2, or the anti-agglomerator constitutes dilithium and disodium salt of cis- or trans-butenedioate acid. The granules of the block copolymer produced by the described method exhibit a high oil adsorption capability due to the increased porosity thereof.

EFFECT: high porosity of the produced block copolymer ensures uniform distribution of the plasticiser oil in the compound and thus, improves the manufacturability thereof during processing.
