SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a propeller shaft assembly. The assembly contains an elongated front shaft, a retaining element, and a coupling device secured to the front shaft by means of a retaining element. The propeller shaft further comprises a toothed piece that extends at the connecting end, and the retaining member has a sleeve that engages with the toothed piece in an axially sliding manner.
EFFECT: attenuation of axial vibrations of external origin, transmitted from the clutch to the propeller shaft.
