FIELD: excavation equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to earthmoving equipment, in particular to channel diggers with gas lubrication of the working body. The trench excavator contains a basic machine, a working body pivotally connected to it with a multi-section gas collector, the sections of which are arranged sequentially along the height of the working body and connected to the receiver through individual controlled pneumatic valves, a hydraulic cylinder of the working body with a pneumatic valve control device. The trench excavator is equipped with hydropneumatic dampers, adjustable reduction hydraulic valves, reverse hydraulic valves and adjustable hydraulic throttles. The frontal surface of the working body is made sectional and each section is connected pivotally, with limited angular movement, one end is connected to the working body and the other end is connected pivotally to the rod of a hydropneumatic damper. The working cavity of each damper is communicated through an adjustable hydraulic throttle and a reverse hydraulic valve with a hydraulic accumulator, communicated through an adjustable reduction hydraulic valve with a pressure hydraulic line. The pneumatic valve control device is made electric in the form of a displacement sensor mounted on the hydraulic cylinder of the working body drive.
