SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a transparent layered element for a projection screen or a light-transmitting screen, as well as to transparent glazing. The specified element includes two transparent outer layers, each of which has a smooth outer main surface. The layered element includes: a screen zone (ZE) with diffuse reflection and directional transmission properties, including a textured middle layer placed between outer layers, a peripheral zone (ZP) with mirror reflection and directional transmission properties, and a transition zone (ZT) with diffuse reflection and directional transmission properties between the screen zone (ZE) and the peripheral zone (ZP), which includes a textured middle layer (3T) placed between outer layers. The diffuse reflection of light at any point of the transition zone is less than or equal to the diffuse reflection of light at any point of the screen zone, and the variation of the diffuse reflection of light in the transition zone from the screen zone to the peripheral zone in any direction of the interface of the screen zone with the peripheral zone decreases or is such that a curve passing through a value of the diffuse reflection of light at a junction of the transition zone with the screen zone and through one or each local maximum of the variation of the diffuse reflection of light in the transition zone decreases.

EFFECT: invention provides an increase in the clarity of visibility as a mandatory condition, in particular, in the field of transport, at the same time it has uniform overall appearance.
