FIELD: vibration technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of drying bulk materials using ultrasonic oscillations. The dried material is placed in a vertical-type drum dryer on the surfaces of a spiral tray, the inner diameter whereof increases from the bottom to the top of the drum. The material is moved upwards in the spiral tray due to vibration and rotation of the spiral tray. When the dried material reaches the upper turn of the spiral tray, it is poured onto the lower turn. The material is impacted by ultrasonic oscillations continuously at a frequency of at least 20 kHz with an ultrasound power level of at least 145 dB with repeated passage of oscillations from a disk emitter to reflectors made on the inner surface of the spirals of the tray at an angle of 45 degrees, and further between two turns of the spiral tray sequentially located at a distance of at least 15 mm and reflection from the inner surface of the cylindrical drum.

EFFECT: invention should provide an increase in the productivity of drying by increasing the amount of simultaneously dried material while maintaining the expenses for power impact with ultrasonic oscillations and an improvement in the quality of the resulting product due to the ensured uniformity of the ultrasonic impact on a larger volume (mass) of the dried material.
