FIELD: textile industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a continuous method of drying woollen cloth using an ultrasonic field. Technical result is achieved by means of optimization and intensification of drying of woollen cloth on known and used in production of drying stenter machines of continuous action, increasing efficiency and speed of material drying, increasing productivity and reducing energy consumption for drying, namely, continuous action in drying chamber on dried fabric with density of 760–800 g/m2 of ultrasonic field, generated by ten ultrasound sources with ultrasonic vibration frequency of 20 kHz and working tool vibration amplitude of ≥70 mcm, with simultaneous counterflow supply of hot air heated to temperature of 80°C at rate of 6 m/s.
EFFECT: obtaining textile articles with high degree of preservation of their shape and improved value of consumer shrinkage.
