SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method for finishing a supplied construction panel (1) made of wood material, in particular MDF or HDF, with an upper side (2) and a lower side, while at the first stage of embossing, the relief is embossed at least in the upper side (2) in the form of the first recesses (5) in the form of a strip with two opposite side walls, the lower wall connecting the specified side walls, and a depth (T), then the decor is printed on the embossed upper side (2) of the construction panel (1) and then the decor is isolated by applying an abrasion-resistant layer. According to the present invention, additional recesses (6) are embossed, passing at an angle (α) transversely to the first recesses (5), and the large supplied construction panel (1) is divided into separate panels by cutting in each of the recesses (5, 6) and along them.
