FIELD: vibration equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of vibration equipment, in particular to vibrating grain separators. A method is proposed for exciting mechanical vibrations of force factors with adjustable parameters according to an asymmetric law by a centrifugal vibration exciter consisting of four unbalances, the axes of rotation of which are located on a common base, having the same imbalances in pairs, and have an initial position in which their centrifugal inertia forces create the maximum force factors, and rotating with the same angular velocities, which is provided by a transmission that synchronizes and brings in phase the rotation of the unbalances with a gear ratio, equal to the ratio of the angular velocity of the fast-rotating unbalances to the angular velocity of the slow-rotating ones. To obtain the force factor with the highest absolute value directed against the direction of the force factor created by the fast-rotating unbalances, the initial position of the slow-rotating unbalances is changed by turning them in any direction by an angle equal to the product of the quotient of 180° by the value of the gear ratio of the transmission, synchronizing and bringing in phase the rotation of the unbalances, by a fractional number from the range of values from 0.25 to twice the value of the gear ratio -0.25 in increments equal to 0.5, provided, that the gear ratio is a fractional number, when multiplied by four, an odd number is obtained.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of separating grain mixtures.
