SUBSTANCE: invention relates to vibration technology, in particular to the technology of the agro-industrial complex, and can be used at grain processing enterprises in technological and transport equipment. The method for excitation of mechanical oscillations of power factors with adjustable parameters by a centrifugal vibration exciter that excites oscillations according to an asymmetric law, consisting of four unbalances, the rotation axes of which are located on a common base, having the same unbalances in pairs. According to the method for excitation of mechanical vibrations, in order to obtain a force factor with the largest absolute value directed against the direction of the force factor created by slowly rotating unbalances, the initial position of rapidly rotating unbalances is changed by turning them in any direction by an angle equal to either 45°, or 135°, or 225°, or 315°, provided that the gear ratio n is a fractional number, which, when multiplied by four, gives an odd number.

EFFECT: possibility of varying the speed of transportation and increasing the efficiency of the separation of grain mixtures is achieved.
