FIELD: construction materials industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for neutralizing a by-product of hydrogen fluoride production and can be used in the production of anhydrite for the production of a binder and pigment in the construction materials industry. A method for neutralizing a by-product of hydrogen fluoride production, solid fluoranhydrite waste, includes mixing it with a neutralizing agent, bituminous limestone, introducing a setting accelerator and subsequent grinding of raw materials. Mixing of fluoranhydrite waste containing water-soluble calcium sulfate in it, wt. % 5-18, while bituminous limestone with a calcium carbonate content of more than 89, wt. %, is used as a neutralizer, and sodium chloride is used as an accelerator, and mixing is carried out in the temperature range of 100-280°C.
EFFECT: proposed invention makes it possible to dispose of industrial waste to obtain an anhydrite binder with higher consumer properties than in the prototype method, in particular with higher strength.
