FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, namely to synchronous electric motors with a reluctance rotor, and can be used in electromechanical systems with high rotation speeds, for example, in compressor construction. The effect is achieved by introducing a fixed excitation winding 19, which has the form of a ring with a trapezoidal section and supplied with alternating current, and making an annular groove of the rotor 18. In a synchronous electric motor, C-shaped magnetic circuits 7-12 of the stator are made of laminated electrical steel, have flat working clearances and are combined into a single structure using bearing shields 13, 14 made of non-magnetic material. On the C-shaped magnetic circuits 7-12 there are phases 1-6 of the stator winding, fed by alternating voltages, phase-shifted by an angle equal to half the spatial shift of the C-shaped magnetic circuits. The rotor 18 is made of a ferromagnetic material, is mounted on the shaft 17 and has the shape of a cylinder offset relative to the axis.
EFFECT: increasing the energy characteristics when rotating at an increased speed when powered from a three-phase network.
