FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, namely to synchronous electric motors with a reluctance rotor, and can be used in electromechanical systems with high rotation speeds, for example, in compressor construction. In the proposed synchronous electric motor, C-shaped magnetic circuits 5–8 of the stator are made of laminated electrical steel, have flat working clearances and are combined into a single structure using a housing 9 and an end shield 10 made of non-magnetic material. On the C-shaped magnetic circuits 5–8, located at an angle of π/2 relative to each other, there are phases 1–4 of the stator winding, fed by alternating voltages that are phase shifted by an angle of π/4. The rotor 14 is made of a ferromagnetic material, is mounted on the shaft 13 and has the shape of a cylinder displaced relative to the axis of rotation. Due to the use of four magnetic circuits and four identical phases of the stator winding, as well as due to the implementation of trapezoidal magnetic circuits in the working gap zone, the effect is achieved.
EFFECT: increasing energy characteristics and simplifying the design when rotating at increased speed.
