FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, namely to synchronous motors with reactive rotor. In the proposed synchronous motor C-shaped magnetic conductors 1 of the stator are layer of electrical steel, have flat working clearances and are integrated into a single structure by means of bearing shields 3, 4 made of non-magnetic material. On each C-shaped magnetic conductor 1 there is phase 2 of stator winding. Rotor 8 is made from ferromagnetic material, is installed on shaft 7 and has shape of cylinder shifted relative to axis. Stator winding phase supply is performed by alternating voltages shifted in phase by an angle smaller than that of C-shaped magnetic conductors.
EFFECT: technical result achieved when using present invention consists in simplification of design and reduction of rotor moment of inertia with increased rotation speed at supply from three-phase network.
