FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for the extraction of metals by electrolysis, in particular for the production of precious metals by electrolysis of an electrolyte solution. The device contains a rectangular bath made of polymeric material with branch pipes for supply and outlet of the productive solution and a drain branch pipe on the bottom. Inside the welded pool, n electrode blocks are sequentially located perpendicular to the movement of the productive solution. The bath is placed in a frame made of rectangular metal pipes, equipped with supports made with the possibility of adjusting the horizontal level of the bath. Inside the bath, n electrode blocks are installed perpendicular to the flow of the productive solution at an equal distance from each other, each of which contains a sealed body in the form of a rectangular parallelepiped. A rectangular through cut is made through the opposite large side faces of the parallelepiped. On one of the smaller side faces of the body, an anolyte inlet pipe is made at the bottom, and an anolyte outlet pipe is made at the top. An anode plate is inserted inside the body with a gap in relation to its bottom, the upper part of which protrudes from the body. A current lead in the form of an elongated metal strip is connected to the anode plate. Acid-resistant sealing gaskets corresponding to the dimensions of the cut-out are imposed on each large side face of the case from both sides in the place of the cutout. Anion-exchange membranes made of polymer material are laid on the gaskets, and then the clamping frames. Fastening strips are attached to the two large side faces of the housing above the cutout, to which cathode perforated plates are connected with the possibility of adjusting the distance between the cathode and anode plates. The upper part of the cathode plates is connected to a U-shaped cathode current lead, which is attached to the body. The cathode and anode plates are connected to the cathode and anode copper bars, respectively, which are connected to the current source. Each odd-numbered electrode unit in the bath, with its end face, without anolyte inlet and outlet pipes, is installed close to the first side wall of the bath so that the anolyte inlet and outlet pipes are directed to the opposite, second, side wall of the bath. Each even-numbered electrode block in the order of its location in the bath, with its end without anolyte inlet and outlet pipes, is installed close to the second side wall of the bath so that the anolyte inlet and outlet pipes are directed to its opposite, first, side wall of the bath.
EFFECT: improved functionality is provided.
