FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a method and a navigation system for providing collision protection in an aircraft. To provide collision protection, command stream from a pilot is compared with control data, which is formed by processing in a certain way data of a sensor that performs obstacle identification to determine the safety of this command stream. The navigation system in the aircraft contains a sensor made with the possibility to identify obstacles, a processor, a storage device.
EFFECT: flight safety is improved.
