SUBSTANCE: invention relates to optoelectronic surveillance and aiming devices used in military equipment, law enforcement equipment, personal security and privacy equipment, in particular, to active-pulse surveillance and aiming devices, as well as to laser locators of optical devices. Essence: the device according to the first variant contains a laser emitter, a radiation receiver, a pulse generator for switching on the emitter and receiver, which has the ability to adjust the delay of the receiver’s turn-on gate relative to the emitter pulse, as well as a controller that automatically sets the sequence of delays of the receiver’s turn-on pulses relative to the emitter’s turn-on pulses of variable duration. The device according to the second variant contains a laser emitter, a radiation receiver, a power regulator of the emitted pulses and a pulse generator for switching on the emitter and receiver, which has the ability to adjust the delay of the receiver’s turn-on gate relative to the emitter pulse, as well as a controller that automatically sets the sequence of delays of the receiver’s turn-on pulses relative to the emitter’s turn-on pulses and commands for controlling the power regulator of the emitted pulses. The controller automatically scans the space along the range within the specified boundaries with an uneven distribution of the average emitter power over the range, which provides an increase in the detection range compared to a uniform distribution.

EFFECT: increasing the speed of target search without significantly reducing the detection range.
