FIELD: means used in conditions of limited visibility, intended for use in ship handling, at aircraft landing, in mining and search rescue operations. SUBSTANCE: the device uses an electro-optical transducer, with a microchannel image amplifier, pulse laser emitter, pump oscillator, gate pulse generator, secondary DC high-voltage source connected to the "screen-output of microchannel image amplifier" interelectrode gap, time-delay unit; the gate pulse generator is made in the form of series-connected reservoir capacitor, transformer with two secondary step-up windings and a thyristor switch, two diode rectifier piles, two switching high- voltage transistors and a trigger generator with a pair of thyristor switch control outputs and two pairs of control outputs of the respective switching high-voltage transistors. Offered also are the second and third variants of the night vision devices. EFFECT: enhanced detection ability, reduced power consumption. 5 cl, 6 dwg
