FIELD: material engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a heat-insulating material with a sound absorption function. The heat-insulating material consists of the first layer in the form of a film coating and the second layer in the form of a non-woven bulk fabric based on polyester fibers. The film coating is made of polypropylene strips with a plain weave, with a width of strips from 2.5 to 7.5 mm. The heat-insulating material additionally contains an intermediate film layer located between the first and second layers. The intermediate film layer is made with the possibility of attachment to the first and second layers and has a rubber-based adhesive glue layer applied on both sides. The thickness of the adhesive glue layer on the side of the first layer is from 20 to 30 mcm.
EFFECT: increase in the sound absorption of the heat-insulating material.
