FIELD: refrigeration and cryogenic technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to piston expansion machines and can be used in refrigeration and cryogenic technology. A linear electric generator is installed on the piston expander cylinder, the magnetic piston of which is connected to the piston rod. A piston rod seal is installed in the cylinder and channels are made that communicate the cavity under the magnetic piston of the linear electric generator with the atmosphere.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to simplify the design of the piston expander.
