FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to piston-type internal combustion engines and, first of all, to engines with variable combination of strokes. Piston internal combustion engine comprises piston (2) with sealing rings, located in cylinder (1) and connected to crank-and-rod mechanism of movement, valve box (6) with ignition plug (23) and fuel nozzle (22), intake valve (5) and outlet valve (12), valves drive, air supercharging system. In piston (2) there is exhaust valve (12) of normally open type and hinged unit (14) with channels (15) for passage of working medium. Hinge assembly (14) is connected by means of flexible rod (3) to movement mechanism (4) of the movement mechanism passing through inlet valve (5), which is installed in valve box coaxially with cylinder. Inlet valve (5) is equipped with electromagnet (10), and on stock (7) of valve there is stop (9) providing mechanical opening of valve (5) from crosshead (4). Cover (16) is connected to cylinder (1) on the side opposite to valve box, where exhaust gas channel (17) is made and electromagnet (18) is installed, which interacts with rod (19) of outlet valve (12). On stock (19) there is stop (20) providing mechanical opening of valve (12) when landing stop (20) on surface of cover (16). On outlet (12) valve itself there is protrusion (21) limiting the valve lifting in the open position. Seal between piston and cylinder is of labyrinth-slit type.
EFFECT: technical result consists in simplification of design and improvement of efficiency of engine operation in wide range of loads.
