FIELD: measuring.
SUBSTANCE: method for determining the angle between the current and the voltage in one phase for a consumer relates to the field of electrical engineering and is intended for calculating the power coefficient with subsequent determination of the reactive component of the current. The technical result is achieved by the fact that in order to determine the angle between the voltage and the current, a voltage vector is located on the Cartesian coordinate axes along the axis of real numbers, a triangle of the measured currents is built: a capacitance current vector located from the origin of coordinates on the imaginary axis, ahead of the voltage vector by 90°, wherein a first arc with the length of the vector of the total current consumed from the network is drawn from the origin of coordinates, a second arc with the length of the load current vector is drawn from the end of the capacitance current vector, at the intersection of the arcs, the third apex of the triangle used to find the angle between the capacitance current vector and the load current vector by the law of cosines is obtained, the angle found by the law of cosines is subtracted from the straight angle, obtaining the angle between the current and the voltage.
EFFECT: determination of the angle between the current and the voltage of a consumer only by means of clamp meters.
