FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, in particular to methods for controlling the ratio of consumption of active and reactive power in three-phase electric power networks of 0.4 kV consumers. At least one bank of triangle-connected capacitors is connected in parallel to the electrical load. Also, through at least one power semiconductor switch there connected is resonant oscillating circuit consisting of three-phase current throttle with star connection of windings and at least one unit of capacitors connected into triangle and connected in parallel to each other. At that, neutral of three-phase current throttle is connected to neutral of supply transformer through rheostat with variable resistance. Values of phase currents and voltages in the load circuit are measured, as well as angles between vectors of phase currents and voltages, and a control signal is generated for connection of at least one capacitor unit.
EFFECT: increase in the active and reactive power consumption ratio control efficiency in three-phase circuits, expressed in the active and reactive power ratio improvement at the consumer's power receivers terminals, as well as reducing the amount of active electric power consumed from the network, without changing the operating mode of the consumer's electric receivers.
