FIELD: ammunition disposal.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of disposal of finally equipped small-caliber artillery ammunition having non-collapsible or hard-to-demountable structures, and can be used for the destruction of various types of ammunition in an automated mode of the ongoing process. The explosion chamber contains a container equipped with gate devices, a localizer, a heater, a baffle installed inside it, as well as control systems and removal of gaseous explosion products. The localizer is made of several sets of vertically arranged interconnecting and evenly distributed around the circumference of rail profiles, fastened with banding elements, with knife-type contact elements placed in its tunnel cavity, made of a refractory material and electrically connected to the secondary winding of a step-down transformer located outside the blast chamber container. Internal rail elements located opposite to the central axis of the localizer, forming its tunnel cavity, are located at a distance not exceeding 3-5 calibers of the disposable ammunition. Contact elements in the tunnel cavity of the localizer are located with the location of the zone of their contacts with the housing of the disposable ammunition in maximum proximity to the detonator charge of the fuse located inside it.

EFFECT: simplified design, as well as reduced energy and operating costs when using an explosion chamber.
