FIELD: pipelines.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pipeline transport and is intended for application in launcher and receiver chambers, mud collector filters, manhole hatches of pipelines of petroleum refining, petrochemical and petroleum and gas equipment, as well as at the end and dead-end sections of pipelines in order to provide access to the internal cavity of pipelines and apparatuses, temporary communication thereof with the atmosphere. The self-sealing gate includes a hollow body and a cover installed on the sealing surface thereof, configured to rotate on a hinged lever using a support ensuring the fit of the sealing surfaces of the body and the cover, as well as a possibility of swinging together with said lever on a hinge fixed on the body. The seal is placed in the channel of the cover in a free state, and the body of the gate is equipped with longitudinal grooves designed for setting a bayonet ring freely placed between the lever and the pressure cover, as well as matching passage grooves located directly on the bayonet connection.
EFFECT: increased security of sealing of the gate.
