FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: agricultural system contains agricultural equipment containing a command and control system and a code file of equipment configuration. The command and control system configures and manages agricultural equipment during operation based on, at least partially, the code file of equipment configuration. Agricultural equipment contains: a working vehicle or a production tool that must be transported or towed by the working vehicle, a user interface that, during operation, displays information and receives inputs from a user relatively to one or more data fields in the code file of equipment configuration for agricultural equipment, while data fields contain a user-defined name and at least one of a compatible production tool, an auxiliary device or a task, for which agricultural equipment can be configured. The command and control system is made with the possibility to display a warning message through the user interface, if the selected production tool is not listed in the code file of equipment configuration for agricultural equipment as one of one or more compatible production tools. A method for managing the agricultural equipment fleet contains stages at which inputs from the user are received through the user interface relatively to one or more data fields in the code file of equipment configuration for agricultural equipment of the agricultural equipment fleet. The agricultural equipment fleet contains at least one driving vehicle and at least one towed or transported production tool. Data fields contain a user-defined name and at least one of a compatible production tool, an auxiliary device, or a task, for which agricultural equipment can be configured. Next, the code file of equipment configuration is changed based on the mentioned inputs; the modified code file of equipment configuration is saved on an electronic storage medium for subsequent access for use in the management of agricultural equipment; agricultural equipment is configured and managed based on at least partially modified code file of equipment configuration; and a warning message is displayed via a user interface display, if the selected production tool is not listed in the code file of equipment configuration for agricultural equipment in one or more data fields of compatible production tools.

EFFECT: simplification of the administration of the agricultural equipment fleet is provided.
