FIELD: information technology.

SUBSTANCE: system includes an information service for providing information distribution services through an electronic network and user devices for receiving information distribution services. Transport structures include content, an advertisement and navigation instructions which define a navigation path. Communication with user devices is performed and metadata are collected to provide selected information from the information service to targets from said device users. The system also includes a transport operator which performs movement management functions to support the information distribution procedure, in which it includes a metadata analyser for matching the selected information with the targets from device users. The metadata analyser analyses metadata for creating communities of device users with predictable interest in receiving selected information.

EFFECT: automatic selection and movement of suitable advertising information to target user devices based on corresponding metadata files, which are defined as both device users and as different advertisers, which enables to effectively utilise a transport operator in an electronic network.
