Control system is configured to output a fourth signal indicating a second action different from the first action, if the skidding value is greater than the second threshold value, the skidding variation rate is greater than the fourth threshold value, or a combination thereof, wherein the second threshold value is greater than the first threshold value, and the fourth threshold value is greater than the third threshold value. Progressive control system for an off-road vehicle comprises a control system configured to receive a first signal indicating a skidding of an off-road vehicle relative to the soil surface, with possibility of issuing a second signal indicating a first action, if the skidding value is greater than the first threshold value, and less than or equal to the second threshold value for more than the first threshold duration of time, and with possibility of issuing a third signal indicating a second action different from the first action if the skidding value is greater than the second threshold value, wherein the second threshold value is greater than the first threshold value. Stalling control system for an off-road vehicle comprises a control system configured to receive a first signal indicating a certain amount of skidding of an off-road vehicle relative to the soil surface. Control system is configured to output a second signal indicating a first action if the determined slip amount, expected skidding of the off-road vehicle relative to the soil surface or a combination thereof is greater than the first threshold value and less than or equal to the second threshold value, and no, if the skidding defined value, expected skidding or their combination is greater than the second threshold value. Control system is configured to output a third signal indicating a second action different from the first action if the skidding determined value, expected skidding amount or a combination thereof is greater than the second threshold value, wherein the second threshold value is greater than the first threshold value.
