FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment, namely to an inhaler. The inhaler comprises a substrate of a piezoelectric element with an interdigital transducer (IDT) made by means of using a pair of interconnected comb-shaped metal electrodes. The inhaler has a liquid feeder for supplying the liquid subject to spraying to the front surface of the substrate of the piezoelectric element, located whereon is a pair of interconnected comb-shaped metal electrodes. The inhaler includes a sensor containing at least a pair of detection parts located opposite each other for detecting the liquid supplied to the front surface of the substrate of the piezoelectric element. The inhaler comprises a controller for controlling, based on the result of detection by means of the sensor, the liquid feeder so that the liquid feeder supplies a certain amount of liquid to the front surface of the substrate of the piezoelectric element.
EFFECT: increase in the efficiency of liquid spraying.
