PHASE-MANIPULATED SIGNAL TONE Russian patent published in 2021 - IPC H04B11/00 H04L27/20 H04L27/22

Abstract RU 2758081 C1

FIELD: acoustics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means for forming and transmitting an acoustic signal. The apparatus includes an audio transmitter and a processor circuit. A message with data as a character sequence is encoded by means of a processor circuit. Each character is therein associated with a time interval and transmission of an audio carrier within the time interval. Each character therein encodes a data value associated with the corresponding phase characteristics of the audio carrier. An audio sample of a digitised version of the character sequence is formed by means of a processor circuit using the phase characteristics of the audio carrier associated with the characters. The audio transmitter is controlled in order to form and transmit an acoustic signal based on audio samples. Each character is associated with a complex phase by means of a processor circuit. A complex baseband signal is formed. The real and imaginary parts of the complex baseband signal during the time interval of each character are determined by means of the corresponding complex phase associated with each character.

EFFECT: increasing efficiency of forming and transmitting acoustic signals.
