FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medicine. A device for the reconstruction of the acetabular region during hip arthroplasty in patients with extensive bone tissue defects, including a hemispherical acetabular component with an intraosseous nail and channels for screws. The device is made by 3D modeling for each specific patient; it has a screw for connecting the intraosseous rod with a hemispherical component. The hemispherical acetabular component and the intraosseous rod are made separately and are designed to be connected to each other. The intraosseous rod is made with a channel, and from the side of the base it is threaded for a screw to connect the intraosseous rod with a hemispherical component. The hemispherical component contains an extra-osseous flange, which has a minimum of six channels for the passage of screws and a connecting element with a channel for adaptation to the intraosseous nail. The channel of the connecting element on the side of the inner surface of the hemispherical component is made in such a way that the screw is flush with the head. The joining surfaces of the intraosseous rod and the connecting element are made congruent with the possibility of coincidence of the axes of the channels of the intraosseous rod and the connecting element. The surface of the rod and the hemispherical component with an extra flange in contact with the bone is made porous.
EFFECT: invention provides reliable fixation in case of extensive bone defects in the acetabulum region of an individually made device and the convenience of its insertion during hip arthroplasty, which ultimately provides support and restoration of the function of the lower limb.
