FIELD: radio equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of radio equipment, namely to passive radio monitoring systems, and can be used in systems for locating radio emitting tools. The method for single-position determination of the spatial coordinates of a radio emission source (RES) consists in placing a signal receiving and processing point (SRPP) in the RES emission reception area, including receiving channels, performing coordinate binding of the receiving channels, measuring the phase values of the received RES emission by each receiving channel, transmitting the phase values of the received RES emission measured by each receiving channel and the location coordinates thereof to the SRPP. At least four receiving channels are therein used, installed at a distance D=(0.05÷0.5)λ from each other, wherein λ is the RES emission wavelength, the phase values of the received RES emission measured by each receiving channel are used to calculate the location coordinates thereof. With a condition of the presence of a spherical shape of the RES emission wavefront established a priori, the RES location coordinates are found on the SRPP.
EFFECT: reduction in the direction finding points for RES location.
