SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the electrolytic production of cesium hexachlorrenate, which can be used to prepare electrolytes suitable for the electrodeposition of rhenium. The synthesis of cesium hexachlorrenate is carried out by an electrochemical reaction of ionization of metallic rhenium in a solution of hydrochloric acid with a concentration of 350 g/l with the addition of cesium chloride with a concentration at a solubility limit of 1500 g/l under the action of alternating current of 2 A and frequency of 1-50 Hz, followed by a chemical reaction.
EFFECT: method simplifies the synthesis of cesium hexachlorrenate and reduces the cost of its implementation.
