FIELD: composite materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of organic high-molecular compounds, namely, to the production of difficult-to-burn polymer compositions based on thermoset materials, in particular polydicyclopentadiene. The invention can be used for the manufacture, in particular, of parts for electronics, automobile and aircraft parts, and decorative structural materials. The fire-resistant polymer composition based on polydicyclopentadiene contains the following components, wt. %: polyvinyl chloride 7.5-15.0, chlorinated polyvinyl chloride 1.5-3.0, antimony trioxide 3.0-6.0, phenolic antioxidant 0.1, phosphite antioxidant 0.1, second-generation Grubbs catalyst 0.01, and polydicyclopentadiene is the base.
EFFECT: increase in the fire resistance of the composition is provided.
