FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biotechnology, in particular, to the field of environmental protection, and can be used to concentrate and prevent a hydrocarbon spill from spreading on the water surface. The surface-active preparation for localisation of hydrocarbon pollution comprises an oxyethylated cationic surface-active agent (surfactant) constituting a mixture of oxyethylated quaternary nitrogen-containing bases (NR)4 (CH 2CH2O)nOH, wherein the length of the radical R=C10 to C14, the average degree of oxyethylation n=2 to 6, and oxyethylated alcohols R(CH2CH 2O)nOH, wherein the length of the radical R=C10 to C 12, the average degree of oxyethylation n=6 to 8. The preparation also comprises a mixture of organic solvents containing butyl glycol, diethyl ether and heptane in specified quantities.
EFFECT: invention provides a possibility of reducing the time for elimination of hydrocarbon spills, increasing the efficiency of removing hydrocarbon spills, and facilitating the process of eliminating pollution.
